Timothy Doubblestein
​Father Tim is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Asbury University, Wilmore, Kentucky, and holds a Masters of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Kentucky. Father Tim was ordained to the Diaconate in October 2003 and to the Priesthood in January 2004, and he served as Curate here at St. John the Apostle from 2005 to 2011. He is happy to return to SJA as its 3rd Rector as of October 2025. He and his wife Anna live in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Frederick Schwarz
Deacon Fred is from Toledo, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Ohio University and a Master of Arts degree in West European Studies from Indiana University. He served in the Ohio National Guard, the US Army and the US Army Reserve from 1977 until 2011, retiring with the rank of Colonel. He retired from his civilian career from the US Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command in 2015. Deacon Fred was ordained to the Ancient Order of Deacons in July of 2017. Deacon Fred and his wife Anna currently reside in New Baltimore, Michigan.
