Beginning Sunday May 5th, from 8:30-9:30am, we are restarting Sunday morning classes, open to the entire church. The “every-other-week format” worked well for the Catechism Class, so that is the format we will follow for our upcoming series. We will use the book, How God Became King: The Forgotten Story of the Gospels, by N.T. Wright. This book is available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle format and audible format. It is also available from Discount Books and other outlets, so look around for your best option. If you cannot get out to a retail outlet or have trouble ordering online, please let Nancy or Fr Terry know, and we will order it for you. (The Amazon paperback cost is around $11).
I am looking forward to this opportunity and class. The topic is a good reflection and study of the gospels, the church, and the kingdom of God and should feed many good discussions and a trip or two down some rabbit trails.
